State law prohibits the Council from acting on items not listed on the Agenda except by special action of the City Council under specified circumstances.   The Mayor reserves the right to limit the speaker’s time to three minutes.  The Mayor will recognize you and when you come to the microphone, please state your name for the record.  You are not allowed to make personal attacks on individuals or make comments which are slanderous or which may invade an individual’s personal privacy.

Recommendation to approve the Minutes of the Special City Council meeting of February 18, 2009.

 

8.4    Payroll Register  (Mr. Warren)

 

Recommendation by the Director of Finance to approve the Payroll Register.

 

 

8.5           Warrant Register (Mr. Warren)

 

Recommendation by the Director of Finance to approve the Warrant Register.

10.    ORDINANCES

 

10.1     First Reading of an Ordinance Adding Tile 4-1-0 and 10-1-0 to the Municipal Code (Mr. Calfee) (no vote needed for introduction, waiving of first reading requires a voice vote)

 

Recommendation by the Director of Community Development that the City Council take the following action:

 

1.                 Introduce an Ordinance granting a one-year time extension for valid entitlements, plan checks and construction permits authorized under Title 10 and Title 4 of the Municipal Code, respectively; and

2.                 Waive the first reading of said Ordinance.

12.1     Proposed Parking Citation Fine Schedule (Mr. Warren)

Recommendation by the Director of Finance that the City Council adopt a Resolution approving the revised parking citation fine schedule as shown on Attachment “A”, attached to the staff report.

Recommendation by the Director of Finance to acknowledge and file the report.
